Home Sweet Home

This is something I have been meaning to share for a while now. Hubby and I moved into our new home on December 21, 2007 (my birthday). Needless to say it was a great birthday present.

We have spent the past few months making small changes and updates to our home. It is definitely a work in progress and a great bonding experience. We have plenty of work to do but here are a few pictures of our 'work zone.'

It seems like everyone has started a blog and while I agree that it is a bit self-indulgent to think that anyone would have the slightest interest in what our family is doing, I have to admit that it seems like a great way to keep family and friends "in the know." For me, this will be a good exercise for the writing skills that have taken a backseat for the past few years. At the very least, this blog may give you a good laugh before continuing your Facebook or MySpace stalking. Enjoy!
